Warning Signs
Warning signs are used to alert drivers of dangers ahead and a need for extra caution. Most are triangular in shape with a red border surrounding a black symbol of the hazard on a white background.

Regulatory Signs
Regulatory signs give effect to traffic regulation for giving instructions to drivers. There are two types: mandatory (must do) most are circular with a white symbol and border on a blue background. Major exceptions are the Right of Way signs and Stop signs . The other is prohibitory (must not do) most are circular and have a red border. But there are many exceptions.
